JESSE BITTMAN

 

Dr. Bittman is a General Internist with additional training and experience in management of obesity, high blood pressure and cardiovascular risk management.  He completed medical school and internal medicine residency at the University of British Columbia.  Jesse dedicated his final two year of training to gain extra experience in obesity hypertension, and cardiovascular risk management; studying both  in Vancouver and Toronto.  

In addition to a strong clinical background, Dr. Bittman is currently involved in research focused on improving patient experience in hypertension care. He is particularly interested in assessing the impact of aggressive lifestyle on cardiovascular risk in people with atrial fibrillation.

Jesse brings a kindness to medicine that is needed now more than ever. His intelligence and compassion are evident in every interaction. He is passionate about disease prevention - a true empathetic force in his field and one of its brightest new stars. 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bittman enjoys cooking, traveling and binge watching 22 minute sitcoms.
